It was an intense day in the league as the tournament comes to a close. For the first time, the AIA blasted the Toros off-guard with a score of 3-0. Using excellent passing lanes and fast shots, around six minutes in the game, Jay Futalan, with an assist from Ralph Ramos, earned their first goal. The Toros never gave up with their offensive attacks but Diony Hipolito blocked all incoming shots. Using a triangular formation, Ralph Ramos and Joshua Paunil solidified the AIA's win earning a goal each. With much enthusiasm, AIA defeated the Toros, a feat accomplished for the first time in the league.
The Fighting Macaroons and Angry Birds fought to a draw in the second match. Stephen Villejo, assisted by Rigor Alamar, struck the first goal with a shot from the corner of the court. Eight minutes into the first period, Fralyn Silva unfortunately scored a goal for the Macaroons through a technicality. Motivated, Jeffrey Castro scored another goal for the Macaroons. Rigor Alamar then scored two more goals in the second period leading the Birds by a point. However, Reynold Curampez helped Jeffrey Castro score a third goal for the Macaroons, ending the game in a draw.
The SBS narrowly won over the Goal Diggers with a score of 1-0 in the last match. The game between the two teams was composed of many turnovers, with both teams unable to capitalize it. Nic Angeles, goal keeper of the Diggers, saved many goal attempts by the SBS, while Miguel Urbano, in vain, tried to score for the team. Twenty seconds before the match ended, Nate Tarcelo scored the only goal in the game, securing the victory for SBS.
