Debbie Fund is set up in memory of Debbie Phillips, who died of Cervical Cancer on 11th February 2010. Debbie was the wife of Mark, and the mother of three wonderful children, Katy, Sarah and Jack. During the progression of Debbie’s disease, it became apparent that there was no dedicated research into a drug treatment specifically for Cervical Cancer, and so, of the numerous friends whom Debbie had, a group of us have come together with her family to raise sufficient funds to ensure that the necessary research can be carried out by a team of scientists at University College London. So far, in the short period since its creation, Debbie Fund has raised over £800,000 in the form of cash received and pledges.
