4th Team/Development Squad
The development squad welcomes all, those who have played a few times at school and even if you have never picked up a hockey stick before and just want a bit of regularl exercise or get involved with a sports club. We have regular training sessions with our development coach. Training is specifically catered to the level of the group for example working on different skills or tactical awareness of the game. I started off here and would advise it to anyone as it is great fun on and off pitch. There is always the opportunity for fluidity in the squads too. We are currently trying to organise some friendlies against local universities and colleges so everyone gets a chance of a real game :D Dependent on how good the intake is this year we will be looking to elect a captain for this team.
