Next Thursday (the 23rd February at 6pm Location TBC) brings our annual club elections where all of your friends and team mates will be putting themselves out there to try and gain a place on the exec. No place is certain, no matter if it's the third exec position or their first that they are running for, it is all down to you! Your vote and your support will make the ultimate difference as to who is running the club next year.
Furthermore it is not just exec we will be voting for... We will also be deciding on Fresher of the Year, Club Person of the Year, Most Improved Player and your team mate of the year depending on which squad you play for.
To reiterate the email, for all of you who will be running for exec positions, please let Geri know by tomorrow what you are running for in preference order and who will be proposing you. A speech for your position will be no longer than one minute unless you're running for Pres (5 mins...unlucky on that one!), Vice-Pres (3 mins), or Treasurer and Captains (2 mins). All proposals will be 30 secs long.
Please also bring lots of fun sacks and drinks, and we will be hitting the town afterwards for a club social which is always fun and exciting following the buzz of election results. YES unlike most elections you do find out on the day which is always exciting!!
