Hockey Ball 2012

My favourite time of the year, the time where you can ditch the hockey kit, the shin pads, and the smelly goalie kit and get all dressed up without the fear of purple being poured all over your newly make-uped face and nice hair do!

With our new venue - the Pump Rooms - decked out in fancy deco and some giant UWHC balloons(the H is still nicely floating around my bedroom....) the place looked spectacular - you could almost say we looked civilised... that is until the photos were over and the individual table circles began!!

The food was delicious, as was the complementary wine - I must say I was a personal fan of the panna cotta. Then for speeches and awards. A congratulations to everybody who won an award, and everybody who made a speech.... must say the boys' were extremely lengthy and not in a good way...

After the speeches and awards, and an annoyingly timed fire alarm, we hit the dance floor and pulled out our weekly smack moves!! However, unfortunately it all ended to soon, but luckily, along side the UW and H balloons (the C got lots somewhere in the ceiling) we trekked to Vlad and Joe's house to party the night away...

A huge thank you to Bam and Stella for organising such a lovely evening - I look forward to next years!!!
