WE LOVE TOUR....

TOUR TOUR TOUR!!!
WE LOVE TOUR.
After a delayed start, because as the song says warwick men ‘never come on time’, we made our way to the mystery destination in the blacked out minibuses. Along the way we whacked many a pint (or for me a vk), many of us were kidnapped and taken as prisoners on other buses, until finally we arrived in MANCHESTER.

For those who made it out on Saturday night they experienced the awesome music of HMV Ritz, and for those who didn't (gutted!), the amazingly comfortable Holiday Inn Express beds. On Sunday most of us woke up to a really yummy hot buffet breakfast and then on to some hockey pitches. Manchester Met were there on the pitches when we arrived ready with their funnels. The game began with Jo Boddy in goal in a zulu start against the Man Met goalie – it was an interesting sight to say the least. The game proceeded with cans and bottles of alcohol on pitch; every time one was knocked over, the game stopped and whoever spilt it drank it (miraculously this didn't happen very often).

In the evening, we went to a bar in Fallowfield where some of the Manchester Met players joined us for a few hours of circling. The girls from Manchester seemed rather confused with what a story of sexual deviance was – and we thought one admitted to sleeping with every boy on the team more than twice (we weren't judgmental at all....) – thankfully we had heard wrong! Then we moved on to Darbar for our curry on the infamous curry mile. This was a great hit - everyone loved their curries (including B Marv who loved it so much she couldn't wait for her cutlery!)! Next stop Revolution in Fallowfield to finish off the evening. This was a great night out with lots of free shots.

After a long lie in, which was definitely needed, we went to a bowling alley in the Trafford Centre. The Trafford Centre was HUGE, which made it rather confusing as to where to park. (TOURTOURTOURLOLOLOLOL) The bowling was a great laugh with a lot of people trying out some interesting bowling techniques which in some cases were more successful than your average bowling technique. Monday was the BIG night out. First we circled guys and girls separately in our hotel rooms. Next we hit up Revolution Bar at Deansgate Locks for an event called POUT. The place was massive and looked great. It was an epic night, which can be pieced together by the photos as I'm sure everyone has hazy memories. Everyone was raving it up on the dancefloor together. My time ended at the club when one of our freshers decided to test the patience of a bouncer and got kicked out so I jumped in a taxi back to the hotel with her.

On Tuesday morning we went home. Everyone absolutely shattered but sad to leave.
P.S. I miss tour.

Lots of love
