U16s win first Matchplay game

The Under 16s got their Matchplay campaign off to a successful start against Hainault and Clayhall. Hainault were bowled out for 123 with the wickets shared amongst the bowlers. In reply Alfie James hit 80 for a 8 wicket win with the target chased in 21 overs

The Under 12s tied their Peter Coe cup game against Bancroft Lions. Both sides scored 123, Ellis Pickering hitting 72 for Upminster
