Youngster Oliver White is named in the squad in recognition of his progress over the last 18 months which has seen him rise from the Club’s 4th XI to the 2nd XI. Paul Stratton is also included to mark his commitment and enthusiasm around the Club over many years, especially assisting behind the scenes at previous Benefit Matches.

There are also Benefit Match debuts for the Whetstone brothers, Connor and Julian, while experienced campaigner John Curtis will be looking to improve on his record of just two wickets in his previous eleven Benefit Match appearances (which includes a guest appearance for Essex in 1998).
