On Friday night we travel to Rochford Hundred RFC for the second of our pre-season fixtures. Rochford had a good season last year in London 2 North East finishing 5th and have recruited heavily this summer including Mark Billings and Nik Grier from National 2 side Southend and as a result will be looking to push for promotion to London 1 North. The game on Friday will provide a tough test and any additional support is welcomed. Kick off is at 7.45pm and the postcode for Rochford's ground is SS4 3AD.

Secondly, we still have shirts remaining for the Fantasy Shirt Sponsorship for the coming season. In summary, over the coming weeks, there will be fifteen A4 size framed shirts added to the wall in the clubhouse. These shirts are numbered 1-15 and available to sponsor at a cost of £300 for the season.

Sponsorship can be from individuals, businesses or syndicates and will have your name or logo displayed prominently under the shirt in the frame.

In return for sponsoring you will receive VP membership, the opportunity to apply for international match tickets and invite to all club sponsor days.

So, here's the competition - at the end of each calendar month, the playing shirt with highest number of tries throughout the senior section, including the colts, will receive a prize.

Shirts numbered 5 and 11 have been sponsored by ERB Insurance and RJS Test Solutions for the 2016/2017 season.
