Club Moves on from WOCSA

Although UCFC was only recently awarded the RFU's Whole of Club Seal of Approval it has now been accreditated by the HQ as one of the best managed rugby clubs in the country.

The move from WOCSA to Accreditation reflects the RFU's desire to make it easier for clubs to show how they have improved their administration.

Rob Udwin, Community Game Board Chairman and Middlesex representative on the RFU Council said:

“We have tried to ensure that the new system is simpler for clubs than the Seal of Approval. That system will end with the launch of Accreditation and the 85 clubs that have worked so hard to achieve Whole Club SoA status will be automatically accredited, while Rugby Development Officers will work with those who have earned mini and junior status to ensure that they too achieve Accreditation. They are the standard bearers and will continue to be role models for all clubs.”

UCFC is proud to be recognised among those 85 clubs as being the first clubs to be accredited as an exemplar rugby club.
