Rolex Rugby

Sometimes it just all clicks together - pennies drop - brains engage - the ball is passed -tries are scored -Simples Yes. I call it Rolex Rugby - the timing is perfect and it looks stunning.
The key stats were these; 35- 0 at half time, 52 -5 full time. Tries by Dom, Alex, Jack, Ollie, Josh, Elliott. MofM and Wally of week was Jack.
Our particular thanks to George Cook and John Wayne for helping out and doing great jobs refereeing the game at very short notice. And Paul (and support) for putting it together and doing a great job, as a few coaches missing in action today.
So the passing was the best we have seen in a year, and the commitment was second to none. I have had parents gushing praise on every one and single individual player who was involved. They should be rightly proud. When I have people describing the first half as best Champagne rugby half seen and the second half as total rugby - but it was best summed up by another saying the game was top end Gucci Rugby , ...you can but smile. Brilliant.
Our thanks to our friends at Wanstead who made a good game of it, and are a great friendly local club, who never gave up and stuck to the task. Well done them. They were unlucky to get us on a very good day. but we have been having a lot of these 'days' lately.
We are all so proud of our boys who now move to within one game of a Cup Final......... and if they play like that - they can beat anyone. anyone. anyone.
Gucci Rugby or Rolex Rugby, whatever it is, it is top draw and we love it.

(Date for diary Sunday 13th December -semi final day)
