Due to a severe outbreak of Uptonitis, Kings Cross have conceded this weekends fixture. This sees us sat at the top of the Championship Division
A telephone call from Kings Cross this week, confirmed they are backing out of tomorrows fixture.
Clubs backing out of end of season fixtures, is something we thought we'd get away from when joining the Pennine League but it appears after seeing the same last season, that this is not the case.
Its a disappointing turn of events when teams won't fulfil the away fixtures at the end of the season, despite receiving the revenue generated from the opposite fixture earlier in the season.
