Men's 1s battle back in eight goal thriller as Men's 2s seal back-to-back wins.

Urmston Men’s 1st XI were unlucky not to take all three points after an eight goal thriller, drawing 4-4 with Lancaster and Morecambe Men’s 1st XI.
Ollie Cooper’s clinical strike fired the Urmstonians ahead before the away side fought back to a 3-1 half-time lead.
Reduced to ten men in the second half, Urmston fought back valiantly to lead 4-3 through a Robin Cooper brace and a goal for Luke Fidler before a late equaliser.
Man of the Match Steve Brittle was instrumental in the hard-fought team performance as the 1st team remained unbeaten at home.
In the reverse fixture, Urmston’s 2nd XI sealed back-to-back wins with a 1-0 victory against Lancaster and Morecambe Men’s 2nd XI.
Chris Martin Sr’s experienced orchestration culminated in a man of the match display as Owen Monk’s second goal in as many weeks sealed the win in a dominant tem performance.
Mary Jo Rothwell’s sublime goal extended the Ladies 2nd XI’s unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw away to Univeristy of Manchester.
Goalkeeper Maria Dobson kept a tough side at bay as the team stayed three points clear at the top of the table.
The Ladies’ 1st XI’s unbeaten run came to an end against table toppers Lymm Ladies 1st XI in a hard-fought 3-1 defeat.
Kate Entwistle fired Urmston into the lead off a penalty corner.
Lymm showed their mettle, fighting back to take all three points despite commanding Players' Player performances from Gemma Booth and Claire Mulligan.
Dan Downes also picked up his second Man of the Match in three weeks as the Men’s 3rd XI fell 5-0 away to Northern.
The Ladies 3rd XI also fell to a 4-0 loss as they returned to action against Manchester Moss Park 3rd XI as Lucy Jones picked up Players' Player.
