Captain strikes to give Reds a point!
A goal in the 75th minute from Reds skipper Mitchell Wiseman was enough to get us a draw against third-placed Hanwell Town last night in the ACYL.
We played some very good football last night, especially in the first-half
in a game of two halves as the teams served up a tasty encounter.
Louis Raphael put a shot just wide of the far post in the game's first attack, as we looked to overwhelm our opponents from the kick-off.
Our pressure was rewarded with a finely taken goal by Elliott DOBBS in the 15th minute, after he accepted a pass from striker Jamal El-Azizi to confidently beat Andrew O'Connell in the visiting goal.
El-Azizi had a golden chance to make it two soon after, but his finishing wasn't at its best from Ahmed Mohamed's right-wing cross.
A nice piece of play on the left by El-Azizi saw him create an opening for Mohamed to score. However, he struck the face of the post and Hanwell got the ball away to safety.
Following the half-time cupper, it was Hanwell who came out a rejuvenated side and looked a much better prospect going forward causing us a fair few concern's at the back.
They were rewarded on 51 minutes, when Leon Thomas found the corner of the net past Zaki Oualah.
Midway into the half and we failed to clear our lines and Jordan FLINT had a pop at goal and the ball nestled in the bottom corner of the net.
It looked at this point we were going to be possibly on the end of a defeat, but we came back and levelled on 75 minutes through WISEMAN's cool finish amongst a crowd of players in the box.
Both teams had chances but at the end Hanwell rued two missed opportunities to take the points, with the league's leading scorer Liam Coles on as a sub going close twice by hitting the bar and firing just wide.
Att:46.

Team:Oualah, Barrett, Raphael, Tamou, El-Amrani, Wiseman(c), Mohamed, Murphy, El-Azizi, Ross, Dobbs.
