Kabamba in the nick of time!
We have moved up into the play-off places once more, following our scrappy 1-0 victory at Chalfont St. Peter this afternoon with a priceless late goal
It was an awful spectacle to behold, but when points are so precious especially at this time of the season your not going to care how you get them!
There were very few goalscoring opportunities at each end, as the game was generally fought out in the midfield.
Mark Oliver spilled a shot from Chris Moore early on for a corner, and not long after striker Nicke Kabamba lifted his shot over the bar, after taking on half the Chalfont defence.
Terrell Lewis provided the only real threat for the hosts infront of goal and his half-volley was well turned over by Matt Elston-Bull.
The second-half failed to spark as well, with Mark Smith firing over a Craig Tomkins cross.
Moore showed some fine control in the box midway into the half, before going just off target as he got his shot away on goal.
After Lewis shot wastefully over down the other end with time running out it looked like a dire goal-less draw was on the cards.
However, Uxbridge substitute Mo Hashi provided the pass from which
KABAMBA picked his spot to fire the ball into the net past Oliver into stoppage-time to win it and send all involved with the club delirious!
