Vale of Lune RUFC

There will be a new winner crowned this year, as local Rugby League team & current Beach Rugby holders Heysham Atoms have moved to their Summer League Season meaning they unfortunatly can not defend their title. Looking to get their name on the trophy are 7 teams made up of Players & Fans of Rugby Union looking to have some fun in the (hopefully) sun! These teams are; Vale Fat Lads, Junior Colts, Arnside Warriors, Lydias Lads, Untaggables RUFC, Torjans along with the invotational team Bondys Beachtrotters!


Beach Tag Rugby is an alternative version of the game which is being used as a recruitment tool as well as a way of bringing people together to enjoy the sport.

Below are the details of the event, so if you fancy coming down to see what all the fuss is about or you come down & fancy playing a game please do so, I look forward to seeing you all there!
When- Saturday 14th July
Where- Morecambe Prom, behind the clock tower
Time- 10.30am till 2.15pm with lunch break.
