Vale 1 stayed top of the table in Div 5 North of the North West Counties Squash League with a 5-0 victory over Blackpool's De Vere 4.
From Jeremy Stopford at No 1, through Adam Holtham at two, Dave Jewitt at three, Shaun Gorry at four and Stuart Featon at five, it was a clean sweep, resulting in a 20 points to nil victory.
It was a different story for Vale 2, however, with a 3-2 loss to
St Annes 3.
Young Max Castaldi scored a confidence-building 3-0 victory after one or two recent reverses.The team's only other victor was Andy Haines who notched up a 3-0 win after his hard-fought win last week.
