All five Vale girls that received County Honours for Lancashire this season have now been called up to North of England

Niamh Kerr at under 15, Sally Stott, Alisha Kasam-Sharples, Lydia Cowell and Amy Stanley at under 18 have all been selected to represent North of England.
A series of three matches hosted by Birmingham Exiles (Solihull) will see the four divisions of England play against each other.
First up the North took on South West on 16th March with Kerr, Stott, Kasam-Sharples and Stanley all taking the field. Despite a spirited performance by both North sides it was not to be their day.
Next it was time to take on London & South East on 30th March, this time it was Stott, Stanley & Cowell that donned the red North shirt. In the later stages of the game it was clear that North were definitely disrupting LSE as they started to lose their shape & focus, unfortunately it was too late to turn around the score line.
The girls now look forward to the final game of the divisional program when they will face Midlands on 27th April. With the exception of Stanley whom unfortunately will not be available for selection following prearranged surgery on an old injury, the remaining Vale girls will be hoping to be named on the team sheets.
Well done girls, you always do us proud.
