We have been placed in a group of 5 and therefore play 4 initial games. Then you will be placed in another group depending on how well we do.
The second groups will consist of two groups of teams who have either come first or second or third and one group of the teams who have come 4th and 5th.
The next phase will involve a knockout involving a play off betweeen the top teams to establish places 0ne to six.
It sounds confusing but it will become clearer as it progesses.
To win the tournament you must come first second or third in our groups.
The tournment is set up so that each team will end up with a place.
The rules are simple - they are the rules of football with the only exception being the length of the games.
Each game will have referees and assistants.
It will be a quality competition with teams from around the NW region and beyond including Oadby Owls from Leicestershire.
All teams need to register by 8.45 am on Sunday
Please note that there will be a charge of £2 per car to park (programme included). Please do not park on the adjoining streets ; there is adequate space to park on the field and enforced parking restrictions will be in place on the roads.
11 a side tournaments necessarily involve a period of waiting in between games. These have kept these to a minimum but please remember that they are designed to allow the players some recovery time.
There are refreshments on site.
There are dressing rooms available however teams will only be allowed access if they are with an adult.
Discipline :
Three yellow cards in total = 2 game ban
Sending off ( ie two yellows in one game) = 2 game ban.
Sending off - straight red - no further participation that day.
There will be 3 points awarded for a win, 2 for a score draw and 1 point for a no score draw.
Points will determine league positions. Should teams finish level on points then the positions will be determined by the following in the following order:

All teams are asked to bring a list of all players that they intend to use over the 2 days and hand it in at the start.
