The RRL has now started to implement its Russian Heritage program. We have targeted Australia because of it being a stepping stone into Asia. The Russian heritage 9s team will take part in all the Asian international rugby tournaments and help promote and develop the RRL Brand.

Also the RRL has started to focus on the Nordic & Baltic countries for Russian heritage 9s teams who will take part in European tournaments giving us the highest profile possible. These players will also be eligible for selection in the 13s national team, preparing for the world cup 2013.
