Round 7 of the premier division season welcomed the first XI from Great Eccleston Cricket Club to Factory Lane.
Great Eccleston, who batted first, arrived unbeaten since round 1, thanks to a dominant batting line up and a reputable pace bowling attack.
Vernons, meanwhile, brought in rookies Rigby and Nagy.
Hayton and Llewellin opened the attack for Vernons. Hayton continued his accurate length attack, with Llewellin back on track with pace, relentless swing and rapier direction.
Very brief resistance from the visitors opening pair ended when Hayton caught his left handed target leg before.
Llewellin dipped his snout through the thin crust, and produced a devastating salvo to remove 3 more victims.
Dunn, meanwhile, rested Hayton, and eased McCutcheon in from the Factory end.
Victims fell with regularity, thanks to pace, bounce, and swing from both ends, as Great Eccleston's batting line up disintegrated with little more than a tentative prod.
Any fortitude displayed with bat was met with vigorous resistance, in the form of athletic fielding from the likes of Nagy and Rigby, and Patel, plus excellent wicket keeping from James McDonough.
Clinical catching was a vital component of the afternoon's rinsing, with Ash completing 3 out of 3 catches at first slip. One run out, plus composed catches from Dunn and Ribgy, brought deserved reward for Llewellin (5 for 25) and McCutcheon (3 for 10).

In reply, Dunn (25) and James McDonough (22) made light work of the chase, batting with solidity, aggression and flair, to knock off the paltry target in only 13 overs.
