Playing Membership Details
All playing subscriptions at Verwood rugby are paid by either standing order, or debit/credit card payment. This avoids the need for cash match fees, and ensures that all players contribute equally and fairly.
Credit & Debit card payments are processed by Paypal, and match fees are taken in the week following the match played. Arrears will be debited on the 1st of each month.
All membership forms are due to be returned to a coach by 3rd September. A late charge of £10 will be applied to any late forms received from active players during the first month. Any subsequent arrears due to delay will be debited on the first payment following receipt of the form.
It is in all players interest to complete and return their membership forms promptly, as the proceeds go to the financial health of the club enabling you to play & train, and have social events organised on your behalf, and for the club to start raising funds in aid of our own ground & clubhouse. Furthermore, any extra funds are invested into training equipment & playing kit which are for the players benefit.
Active players who do not return their forms, or who get significantly in arrears on match fees, are not insured by the RFU and will be unable to play.
Long-term injured players are still required to setup membership in order to receive physio support & social benefits, however, speak to a coach to arrange a temporary reduction in your monthly payments if you pay by installments. Players paying upfront who are afflicted by long-term injury (i.e. 6+ weeks) should discuss with a coach, so that at the end of the season a refund can be issued, or part payment rolled into next season's subscription.

- Annual Lump Sum Payment £200 (1 x cash, cheque or credit/debit card payment)
- Annual Payment by Installments £240 (12 x £20 by standing order or credit/debit card)
- Traditional payment £50, with match fees of £8 (Payment by credit/debit card)
- Students £25, with no match fees (Payment by credit/debit card)
