Verwood RUFC 1st Annual Golf Tournament
Sunday 21st August 2011 at Queen's Park Golf Club
Ladies & Gentlemen
Gird your irons, brush off your drivers, clean your spikes, and get warmed up for the 1st Verwood RUFC Annual Golf Tournament. To be held at Queen's Park Golf Club in Bournemouth, and afterwards in the bar.
Open to all club members, supporters, family & friends, the format will be simple this year to start with, straighforward 3/4 handicap Stableford. Men max 28, Ladies 36. No Bandits permitted - handicaps WILL be checked with friends & family ;-)
So, interested parties, text or email your details - name, email address, current club (if any) and handicap, to Mike on 07887 524264, or mikejwheatley@gmail.com
Entry this year, is just the normal green fees (£20), however, the most honourable of victories will earn SERIOUS bragging rights for overall winner, nearest to the pin, and longest drive (in regulation). Next year we will look at the possibility of a monetary prize.
So come and support your club and enjoy a hilarious day out.
Confirmation of entries, and £10 deposit required on or before Thursday 18th August. Tee off times between 11.20am & midday.
