I have just learnt that Jim died suddenly last night. I am sure that I speak for all the Club to say how devastating this news is.
Jim took over from Tos as First Team Coach at Vigo, and quickly built on the foundations that Tony had laid. He began to instil a belief in the Club, a belief that we did have the players to succeed, and brought some innovative coaching methods which helped Vigo to develop. Unfortunately, he was so successful that he was poached by Gravesend RFC to join their coaching set up, but I know that he still had a soft spot for Vigo RFC, and was constantly keeping in touch with me to find out how we were doing.

Jim was a genuinely nice bloke and will be sorely missed by all his friends at all the Clubs with whom he has been associated. My thoughts and prayers, indeed of all at Vigo RFC, are with Lorie and Jim's family.
