In the Wooden Spoon Charity Golf day held at the Knole, Vigo's youth team Dominic and James Carslaw, Elliot Stickings and Dan Norton claimed first place with a superb 98 points. Star performer was Elliot with an outstanding 45 points in the individual performance of the day. With the two best scores counting, Elliot was given solid backing by his team, Dom weighing in with an exemplary 40 points. Thus Vigo 'Yoof' beat Sheppey and Sidcup to the trophy.
The three teams will now go forward to represent Kent Rugby at Kilworth Springs in Leicestershire on the 3rd of September.

Vigo also fielded two other teams - the A Team (Matt Farrell, Stewart Turner, Andy Carslaw and Gary Stickings) and the B Team (Dave Oliver, Steve Beale, debutant Mike Davis and Trevor Newnham) . Both teams unfortunately, barely troubled the scorer !
