FA Charter Standard Community Club

FA CHARTER STANDARD AWARD
Vinters FC were awarded the prestigious FA Charter Standard Community Club status in 2011, as a progression from the FA Charter Standard Development Club status which was awarded to us back in 2003.
The FA Charter Standard Clubs programme, is supported by the FA Community Partner McDonald's, and was launched in February 2001 with the aim of setting standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people.
To achieve the standard, Vinters FC were required to introduce and enforce the following requirements:

To achieve the standard, Vinters FC were required to introduce and enforce the following requirements:
- Have a written club constitution
- To abide by the FA Child Protection Policy. All managers and coaches have undertaken Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checks.
- All club managers and coaching staff to hold a minimum of Level 1 FA Club Coach Award, which includes emergency first aid training and Safeguarding Children Certificate
- All club managers have a commitment to attend in-service training.
- The club to have a written and circulated "Code of Conduct' for players, parents and officials.
- The club to provide Mini-Soccer for all ages up to and including Under 10 age groups.
- The club to have a commitment to promote schools liaison and equal opportunities for all.
- The club to have active onward external links for teams outside of youth football.
