Vinters 5-a-side Tournament
ANNUAL 5-A-SIDE TOURNAMENT - SATURDAY 6th JULY 2013
Vinters FC would like to invite your club to participate in our seventeenth annual 5-a-side tournament, which is being held on Saturday 6th July 2013 at Valley Park Playing Fields, New Cut Road, Maidstone, ME14 5SL.
The tournament will be run for the following age groups:
Boys: Under 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 in the morning (am); Under 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 in the afternoon (pm).
Girls: Under 13, 15 in the morning (am); Under 9, 11 in the afternoon (pm).
The age groups will be as for the 2012/13 season.
Each team will be allowed a maximum of EIGHT registered players.
For all age groups except for Under 7 and 8, there will be an initial league format, followed by a knockout stage, split into a main cup competition and a shield event.
Under 7 and 8 will play in a friendly tournament in accordance with the FA guidelines on competitive football. All players who participate in these age groups will receive a medal once all the games are completed. Please note under FA Rule 4 (a) (i) that a player who had not attained the age of 6 as of midnight on 31st August 2012 is not eligible to play in this tournament.
Applications received before the 31st March will be guaranteed participation, with a maximum of two teams from each club at each age group. Thereafter, applications will be dealt with on a ‘first come first served basis’. The entry fee for the tournament is £25.00 per team. Please complete and return the attached entry form together with your cheque for the full amount for all teams entered. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Vinters FC’ and returned to the address below. Your entry will not be accepted until payment has been received.
The following will be available on the day: a BBQ serving Bacon Rolls, Burgers & Hot Dogs; a Refreshments Tent serving Beer, Soft Drinks & Snacks/Sweets; Ice Cream Vans; and various other side stalls. Toilet facilities and all parking are provided on-site.

We would appreciate receiving a contact email address on the entry form, as we will immediately send confirmation of entry acceptance by email, along with final timings and directions nearer the date of the event also by email.
