Virginia Beach was able to qualify for the playoffs for the first time in 15 years after a successful Fall matrix in 2014. As a result, the Falcons are primed for a matchup with Blue Ridge RFC just outside of Warrenton, VA on 4/18/15. The Raiders will host as they are the higher seed in the playoffs. Kick is expected to be at 1:00pm.

The Falcons went 4-2-1 in Fall matrix play and followed up with a 7-3 record in the Spring including losses to 2014 Division II National Champions Rocky Gorge and the Division I Norfolk Blues, but also gained a 17-12 victory over the playoff contending Washington Renegades. Blue Ridge finished their Fall matrix with a perfect 8-0 record, averaging a 58-13 victory per game, however Blue Ridge fell short against the Washington Renegades last week 17-21, which placed them #2 in the Central division and #4 in the MAC seeding.

A physical game is expected on a potentially muddy field. For each team, it's win or go home. The winner will advance to the MAC semifinals hosted by James River RFC on 4/25 and 4/26.
