After soundly beating Plymstock twice last season, Camels approached this fixture casually and were given a lesson. With only fourteen players available, the coaches had to reshuffle the team and Plymstock were ruthless in exploiting the resultant spaces out wide, moving the ball well to score five good tries through some flaky and half-hearted tackling. Thanks to two solo tries from Ethan the Camels were just in touch at the start of the second half and hopeful of staging a comeback, but a Plymstock player was hurt in an accidental pile up after a scrum and after a long delay Graham made the sensible decision to abandon the game.
Best wishes to the Plymstock player for a speedy return to rugby.
