The Bridger’s thoroughly deserved this shock victory over their Premier Division opponents, who were outplayed in an incident packed game. But it was the visitors who thought they had taken the lead in the 7th minute when a lob over the keeper by Matt Drummond bounced over the bar. Barrie Wyatt in the visitor’s goal made two good saves to deny Connor Mewton and Sam Cooper but the breakthrough came in the 27th minute when Kyle Flew turned his marker and scored from just inside the area.
Three minutes into the second half saw a corner from Liam Dingle hammered into the net by Connor Mewton to make it 2-0.In the 49th minute a free kick from Neil Kinsman was headed goal wards by Cooper and Sam Gerken followed up to make sure it ended in the back of the net.
In the 57th minute Cooper was sent off after receiving a second yellow card and things were evened up when Scott Kellow received a straight red for a tackle in the 65th minute.
