Hemsworth Terriers V Wakefield FC
Second Sunday in January 2013 and first league match of this calendar year saw Wakefield FC battle it out with Hemsworth Terriers in a one sided affair.
In the first half Wakefield scored six goals:
1) On the 8th minute a pass from left to Rene Rowe who cut in and put the ball past the keeper.
2) On the 9th minute a Corner from Tom Beer and Panashe Katema headed it in to the net.
3) On the 19th minute another corner from Tom Beer and another header from Panashe Katema.
4) On the 20th minute from inside the box Sam Tyson volleyed and keeper could only manage to push the ball in to his net.
5) On the 22nd minute a cross by Tom bear and Patrick Lewis headed it into the net.
6) On the 29th minute Sam Tyson shot into top corner from 10 yards out.
In the Second half, Terriers started better with relentless attacking, Only a minor blip five minutes in allowed Terriers to score their only goal. Again Wakefield carried on with their scoring:
7) On the 45th minute with lot of pressure on the defender by Jay Hopkin resulted in the defender lobbing his own keeper.
8) On the 48th minute corner from Sam Ghomi and on the front post and another header from a Panashe Katema for his hat trick.
9) On the 50th minute a beautiful run from left by Rene Rowe and a low shot in the back of the net.
10) On the 55th minute Rene Rowe got his hat trick from a run from left and shot.
11) On the 65th minute Panashe Katema got his forth with a half volley.
12) On the 67th minute Patrick Lewis got his second from a run from his own half and shooting to bottom corner.
13) On the 70th minute a beautiful volley from edge of the box gave Sam Beresford his first goal this season.
