A very generous gift to the club - Thank You, Corra!
This could be a lifesaver
On 23rd March Niall ODonnell, John Myatt, Mike Thompson, John Rooke, Brian McGrath and Paul Duggan attended a concert at Girnhill Lane WMC where the Corra Charity group are based.

Paul Duggan is a member of the club and had mentioned to the charity group that we were looking for a Defibrillator. This followed a recent First Aid course that Martin Burrell, Peter Bentley, Steven Stoker, Steven Caven and Mally Wood attended where it was advised that given our group profile it would be useful and advisable to have one nearby!
We were invited to the concert where we understood that a presentation was to be made to a couple of groups. To be honest we thought we were going to be given some money towards the cost of a defibrillator, but to our huge surprise Paul was called forward and presented with a defibrillator by Ian Holt from the Corra Charity Group.
This is a tremendous gesture and we would like to express our thanks to the Corra Charity Group – their generosity could literally be a life saver.
At the end of the concert we had a few pictures taken with our own heart expert Rookey formally accepting the machine from John Greenway (Corra)….,
