Walcot feature in January's Touchline from the RFU!!
The official Newspaper of the RFU and RFUW
The RFU is now making Touchline, their official rugby newspaper, available online and we'll be linking to it each month.
What's more the piece that recently featured in the Chronicle about the Walcot RFC clubhouse fire has been picked up and features on the back page!
Why not take a look and see what other things have been going on around the country? There may be some good ideas that we could replicate here.
January's Touchline is now online and incorporates the Community ezine and CB ezine. January's edition sees the launch of a Club Accreditation scheme, and news of Ian Ritchie taking up the role of RFU Chief Executive.
• England Rugby 2015 opens the doors to the Twickenham HQ ready for Rugby World Cup 2015 and Twickenham Council give the go ahead for a new railway station which should be ready for the tournament
• Lucozade Sport and Maximuscle help with the hydration and sports nutrition of England Rugby’s elite squads and the Preston gets 78 players back for a floodlit Exiles game thanks to Facebook.
• Meanwhile, England’s women, with no less than six Grand Slams under their belt are seeking a seventh in their forthcoming RBS 6 Nations.
• This month also sees the Spring Term’s Schools Rugby Touchline supplement full of all the wonderful things going on in rugby playing schools.
