In the first league game of the season a visiting Leek team was no match for a very strong Walsall squad.
Two tries in the first 3 minutes from Nico and Wil Clarke set the tone for the rest of the game. Oli Walton and Callum Wilding added 2 more and with zach edwards sloting 3 conversions, half time came with Walsall leading 26-0.
Second half started as the first, 4 tries from james english, Wil Clarke, Nico and Dan Hemmings in the first 10 minutes put the game well out of reach and with Nico getting his hat-trick along with man-of-the-match Alisdair scoring, the final result was 62-0.
