Town Mead Leisure Park
Town Mead is probably the premier outdoor sport and leisure complex in Essex.
The recently completed development of the 42 acre site cost over £500,000 of which £300,000 was provided by the Sports Lottery Fund.
The complex contains;
six football pitches of various sizes
including a full size floodlit pitch
2 all weather illuminated training pitches
a baseball diamond
2 netball courts
2 basketball courts
The leisure facilities include
lake
adventure playground
park shop
nine-hole putting green
picnic and barbecue area
petanque piste
and a fabulous sports and social club which is open to family membership.
