Wantage Town V Tiverton Town Tuesday 3rd March 2015 – 745pm Kick Off

After 3 defeats in a row the pressure is on with the Freds only 5 points above safety. If the clubs win their games in hand they will find themselves in the relegation zone.

After a run of positive performances they are still searching for points and the next 3 games don’t get any bigger and may determine their fate.

Tiverton are 16th in the league and will be making the long trip to Alfredian park to try and get back on track after Losing 2-0 to Stratford. It was only 2 weeks ago Tiverton travelled to Didcot Town, where Didcot equalised with the last kick of the game.

Squad News – The Freds will be missing Adam Lovegrove and Nick Thorne (work), Adam Doyle (knee) and Matthew Clark (back) but welcome back Mark Janes.

Manager Daniel states “The last two weeks have been very disappointing in terms of not getting anything from the games. Our performances have been excellent but right now I will trade a poor performance for 3 points. Unfortunately as a squad we are not learning quick enough and individual errors or lapse of concentrations are being punished and then we are chasing the game. We have got to start putting some points on the board and have some consistency in our performances. Tiverton have got to travel a long way and with our pitch being very heavy we have got to make the most of it and start the game full of energy. Safety is still in our hands but if we don’t start getting some points soon this will soon change as the safety margin has now gone. It’s important we bounce back and start the game being positive”

Squad: Tucker, Glover, Hulbert-Thomas, Cattell, Jones, Reid, Janes, Shaw, Bayliss, Barder, I Lovegrove, Warne, Whitehead, Whiting, Johns, Carbon, Roberts
