Up For The Cup?

This Saturday Wantage play in the Second Qualifying round of The Emirates FA Cup for the first time ever in their history.

Having seen off Oxhey Jets, Slimbridge and Bishops Cleeve already in this year's competition Wantage travel to National League South side Hungerford Town who are three steps above Wantage in the football pyramid.

Not only a history making game, but a local derby to boot!

As such we'd like to see as many Alfredians as possible at the game to help boost the chances of progression by cheering on The Freds - it's only 14 miles up the road after all!

The game is a 3pm kick-off at Bulpit Lane, Hungerford, RG17 0AY
