Put your sailor suits on as we travel to the Norfolk Broads in our opening fixture.

So it's Wroxham away on Saturday, August 9th as we set off on another Ryman North season. We'll be looking for our first opening day win since 2008 so come and give your support to the side as they seek to break that run. And why not make a day of it as there is plenty to see and do in and around the capital of the Broads?

Our first home game is on the following Tuesday when we entertain Needham Market at 7.45pm after which we receive Cray Wanderers in the first league meeting between our clubs.

As we settle in to a flurry of fixtures there are few other new names for supporters to identify, only Brightlingsea Regent being entirely unknown to us. They come to us on Saturday, September 20th with the away game scheduled for March.

The bank holiday derby games find us away to Cheshunt on Monday, August 25th with the return at Wodson Park on Thursday, January 1st, whilst we travel to Harlow on Boxing Day and act as hosts to them on Easter Monday, 6th April.

The full fixture list is available here.

And now some opening day stats.

This will be our ninth Ryman North season. Our first saw us start with a 4-0 home win over Tilbury whilst the next year produced a 1-1 draw at Ilford (before you breathe a sigh of relief that we don't go to Cricklefield any more, remember that we'll be going there again this year to meet Barkingside).

Then it was a 2-1 home win over Thamesmead in 2008 after which things went downhill rather badly with just a 0-0 home draw against Wingate & Finchley in 2010 to offset beatings from Concord Rangers (0-2 away in 2009), Grays (0-4 away in 2011), Needham Market (1-2 at home in 2012) and Chatham (0-1 last season).

So played 8, won 2, drawn 2 and lost 4. Goals for 8, against 11. Hopefully we can start to redress the balance at Wroxham.
