Our last league meetings came in our Ryman division two promotion season with both sides scoring a home win. Since then Chalfont have spent time in the Spartan South Midlands League before their own promotion took them to the Southern League.

Their four seasons have seen them finish 12th, 16th, 14th and 16th again but their current 7th place in the table suggests they have found a good formula this season. Saturday's FA Cup game at Biggleswade United saw them lose 5-3 after taking an early 2-0 lead. After Ware's 4-0 defeat at Sudbury in the same competition both sides will be looking to bounce back on Monday.

It is interesting to note that two of our best results against them came when both clubs were away, their Mill Meadow ground being unavailable for two seasons at the beginning of this century.
