BBQ/Campover, three matches and a late night on Saturday. Hope everyone has recovered, what a top time started off with the second team getting their first, well deserved, win of the season in an exceptionally close game over at Tewin. Chasing 174 after wickets for Ben C, Ben K, Dev and Hugh. Twos got off to a great start with Dev, Simon and Aaron getting us going at a decent rate and knocking the runs around, after a little bit of a wobble Nick G held the innings together and saw us home after needing 11 to win off the final over a couple of fours and a single of the last ball with Jamie to seal the victory. The ones, won by three wickets after chasing 154 at Widford. Wickets for Scott, Darren, Devon, Matt - the issue being a number of dropped catches which almost cost us. In reply Kev held the innings together with bit of a scrap for runs at the end but also runs for Pricey and Phil. Sunday team almost completed the hat trick of wins but failed by 4 runs in chasing 202, wickets for young Sam, Scott and Ben and runs for Reece, Joel, Matt and Jamie. Up to 30 attended the bbq, helped by the weather and the wins, a late night!
