Usual battles at the start of the year with player availability and the ground. 1's at home and had to contend with a soggy pitch despite the 26c heat and an outfield that had not been cut in two weeks. After losing the toss we were inserted and got a respectable score thanks to a classy unbeaten knock by Pricey and wickets from Kev, Steve L and new players Reece and George (welcome!) squeeze home. Two'd got stuffed away from home despite a great little knock from Joel we didn't get enough runs and the oppo knocked it off easily with Ben getting the only wicket. Do try to make yourself available and remember this Saturday is the first week of the All Stars on Saturday morning. Big thanks to those who really are helping out with the search for players and to new skipper Simon who did a great job in a tricky situation, hopefully we will improve!
