U11's win again

by

Our final league game in the south league, we wanted to finish with a win and cement 4th place, and carry our good form into the new league next week. We started really well and total dominated midfield . Our passing was the best we have seen all season , but we couldn’t use this to score as we seemed to panic in front of goal. Our possession was so dominat that Elmstead managed only once to get into our half!! Half way through the first half Christian Ologun got the ball on the edge of there area and shot ,brilliant goal smashed into the top of the net. Half time only 0-1 up . We only made one change in defence as we felt we needed another goal. We started again really well and within 5 mins Bailey Guy scored and give us a bit of breathing space! Within 4 minutes we scored again with some brilliant passing down the right hand side Joseph Baker crossed the ball for Bailey Guy to score with his RIGHT FOOT!!!. We now made some changes , but still continued to play well and dominate Some more great passing and we slice through there defence ,leading to another goal from Bailey Guy again with his right foot , giving him 29 goals in 14 games quite a achievement seeing he is a midfield player! With the game won the boys switched off a little bit and Elmstead managed to score against the run of play. But thats the only disappointing thing from the game. Again all the boys played well and all deserved man of the match, but for the 3rd week running it goes to Josh Wallace with his performance in midfield ,( Scott Parker like). Well done boys lets carry it on for 6 more games and finish unbeaten in 8!!!!
