Charter Standard Achieved

Great news to finish the year - both Warlingham F.C. and Warlingham Colts F.C. have been granted the FA Charter Standard

Over many months Paul Antino and the rest of the management team have been working towards the requirements of the Charter Standard and we have just heard that we have been granted the standard by the SCFA and will shortly hear from the FA to arrange presentation of the award.

This has taken an awful lot of work for many people and requires such things as a qualified FA coach for each team together with a qualified first aider for each team and with 22 teams this is no small undertaking.

Paul Antino has been the driving force behind this achievement and has worked tirelessly to meet all the many requirements and coordinate the efforts of the rest of the WFC management team.

The Charter Standard is recognition of the sound management of the club and the contribution we make to our community. It is essentially equivalent to a "Charter Mark" and stands us out as a well run and trusted club who do the best we can for our members, the football community and our wider local community. It is recognition of everything we aspire to be.

There has been a lot of work done to get this far but it doesnt stop here. We have to ensure we make best use of the award and also ensure we keep the award through continued improvement and discipline.

It really is a big step forward for the Club and Paul deserves great credit for everything he has done to make this happen.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all our members.
