Saturday 30th August from 2pm onwards....Read on for more!

Calling all of the Warminster Rugby Club community, PLAYERS OLD AND YOUNG, COACHES, COMMITTEES, VOLUNTEERS, PARENTS, WIVES & FAMILIES

On Saturday 30th August at 4pm at Folly Lane Sports Ground, 10 heroically fit and able players, proudly wearing the Amber and Blue colours of Warminster Rugby Club, will commence the rapid ascent of Mount Everest, via a 10m ladder, hoping to complete the mountainous climb of 8,848m (29,029ft) in somewhat less than 2 hours!! All in aid of the Bath Rugby Foundation, which makes a lot of good things happen for disadvantaged children through the medium of sporting activity.

This will be no mean feat indeed and it is one worthy of all of our full, unqualified support!!

Warminster Rugby Club feels privileged to be able to contribute to this very worthy cause and I hope you will all agree by donating whatever you feel able to, however large or small the sum, to raise as much cash as we can for such a deserving cause!

To that end, the club has set up a page on the ‘justgiving’ website, which can be found at the following link;
Just Giving Warminster RFC
where you can go to make your pledges (via the link on the this page) and also there is a Sponsorship Form included here, for people to take away and fill up through their family and friends nertworks.

As a Club then, could I please, please encourage you all to get behind the boys, make their sterling efforts deservedly worthwhile and let’s raise loads of money along the way!

And don’t forget to come along and support the boys on the day, in an attempt which will also be the centrepiece of a Beer Festival and big Family Fun day, also in aid of the charity.

WATCH OUT EVEREST – RUGBY CONQUERS ALL!!!
