The Pink Panthers will be in their 4th year at Warminster Rugby Football Club, Folly lane, Warminster. The team was started to introduce girls to a new sport as women's rugby is the fastest growing sport of 2016 and 2017, but also give girls more of a choice in sports.
After a fabulous start to 2017, the Pink Panthers were finalists for Wiltshire Junior Sports Team of the Year.
This has strengthened the team and gives girls of all shapes and sizes the confidence to engage in rugby which is a team activity and is for all abilities.
Many girls stop doing any form of physical activity once they go onto senior school, the Pink Panthers are trying to show girls that anyone can play but also enjoy themselves on a weekly basis. The Pink Panthers empower all their team mates to continue to support each other on and off the field.
Young women need positive role models in their life, watching professional athletes use team work combined with physical activity can prove to girls that #ThisGirlCan #InnerWarrior
