Looking Ahead To Saturday's Clash At Cantilever Park

Warrington Town welcome Ossett Town to Cantilever Park on Saturday afternoon in a game that will see Saun Reid's first home fixture in charge of the Wires.

Having had 2 games on the road at Durham City and Trafford in midweek, the club are calling on supporters old and new to back the new manager as he looks to take the club forward next season.

It has been a tough start for Reid who has over seen a 7-1 loss at Durham while a 2-2 draw at Shawe View on Tuesday night saw Town come back from 1-0 down and with just 10 men after Kle Hamid was sent off.

Saturday's visitors ae Ossett Town who Warrington lost out to early in the season with a 1-0 defeat being inflicted on the yellows. From the team that day only Hamid, Shipton, Wright and Thompson remain n what has been a season of change at Cantilever Park.

Ossett are curently 14th in the Evo-Stik NPL First Division North having gained 41 points so far this season. They have won their previous 2 fixture with a 2-0 win at home to Trafford follwed up with a 2-0 win against Bamber Bridge. Eric Gilchrist is currently in charge at the Ingfield ground until the end of the season after the departure of Phil Sharpe back in February.

Admission is £8 for adults, concessions will be charged £5, under 16's are admitted for just £2, for under 12’s its free. As part of our various sponsorship agreements students at Warrington Collegiate and now Priestley College will also gain FREE admission. There is also FREE admission for employees of Warrington Borough Transport and Saver Card holders.

Warrington Town Junior players are reminded to bring their season tickets to the game and take advantage of the 2 adults for £5 offer, which is for junior players only.

Turnstyles open at 1:30pm and the club's matchday programme "The Wire" will be on sale priced at £2. The Crazy Hog Snack Bar will be open through out the day from 1:30pm serving hot and cold food and drinks.
