Added On Time Added To Cup Woe

Two late Witton goals knocked Warrington Town out of the Evo-Stik League Cup at the first hurdle tonight.

Cheshire rivals Witton Albion won the contest 4-2 with Warrington leading for most of the game.

Town took the lead through a Chris Gaghan free kick after half an hour, only to see his goal cancelled out moments later by Andy Kinsey's effort.

Town came out of the dressing room at half time and scored with the opening chance of the half through Gavin Salmon. Ashley Stott drew the visitors level just after the hour mark and from then on, Warrington dominated.

Unfortunatly, domination didn't turn into goals and Warrington paid the price with 2 goals in added on time from Calum Botham and another from Andy Kinsey sealed the win for Witton Albion.
