Squad vs Baxter RFC - Saturday March 7th

Warriors WYMCA have named their squad for tomorrow afternoons match against Baxter RFC at Sixways - Kick Off 13.00.

Josh Jackson and Ian Wareing return after missing the last match, whilst leading scorer Liam Cooper misses out due to personal reasons. Kieran Bell is set to make his first appearance of the season. Captain Rich Oxenbury, Maggie Luwen, Dom Bennetto, Julian Lund, Wez Jones and player coach Dave Rogers all retain their places from the team that played against COYS.

"We are starting to get a bit of continuity with our squad now," said Rogers, "which should help our performance level. Ian and Josh will fit straight back in as they have been important players for us this season. Losing Coops is obviously a huge blow, but Kieran was the top try scorer last season so we should still be a threat."

The Head Coach is keen to get a victory on the board after the losses to Fiveways Old Edwardians and COYS. " Winning isn't everything, but the guys have been working hard to improve after the COYS defeat and getting a win tomorrow will be a massive boost to their confidence. If we turn up with the right attitude and start the game strongly then we have a great chance of winning."
