Warwickian U10s play their first matches in a 3-way fixture at Earlson with Kenilworth.

Warwickian Minis travelled to Earlsdon on Sunday 26th February 2012 for the U10s first ever fixture.

Warwickian joined together with Earlsdon to play Kenilworth, and then with Kenilworth to play Earlsdon in two 8-a-side matches to the Pilot Rules.

The highlight of the first match was when Hunt was released at speed by quick ball from McVeigh from contact, with Hunt sidestepping the last opposition player for Warwickian U10s first ever try. Barnes' passing was slick and Tolley's forward runs put the opposition under a lot of pressure.

The U7s played in the 3-way fixture too, including tries from new player Heap, the icing on the cake of Warwickian's first all-Minis fixture. The hospitality at Earlsdon after the game was also superb, Warwickian's players and parents soaked up some rays on the balcony afterwards.

A great time was had by all and Warwickian would like to thank Earlsdon (Tony Venables et al) and Kenilworth (Nick Hansen et al) again for flexing the matches and teams to accommodate us, and being instrumental in helping Warwickian get our U10s squad up and running.

The spirit of Shaping the Game has been instrumental in helping Warwickian's Minis grow...
