CAN U17's TRAIN WITH SENIORS?
The answer is that the U17s as a whole cannot train with the seniors.
Those players who are 17 (have actually reached their 17 birthday) can train with the senior players if the "17 year olds playing in the adult game" form has been completed and the player has been assessed by the appropriate people as being capable of playing in the adult game.
Those players who are not 17 yet cannot train with the seniors except in non-contact games which are not competitive. They may play touch rugby if the game has been risk assessed appropriately as all touch and non-contact forms of the game must be assessed.
